This twelve page PDF pattern includes detailed written instructions, colour diagrams, cutting guidelines and piecing instructions for making the Crystal Heart Quilt in two sizes.

This simple scrappy pattern is the perfect opportunity to play with your favourite colours, textures, and prints. Fabric requirements and cutting diagrams are included for making the quilt in two main colour groups using fat quarters for ease (one colour for the hearts and sashing, and one for the background) but it is an easy modification to use scraps in any number of colours or any other combination of fabrics in your stash.
 
As a bonus, I have included extra instructions at the end of the pattern for making the scrappy heart blocks one at a time. You can make each block in a different colour, use a separate contrast colour for the scrappy sashing, or mix it up in any way you'd like.  You can also make more or less blocks to alter the size and shape of your quilt to your own requirements.  Four blocks in a 2 x 2 layout makes a great baby size quilt, 4 x 5 blocks is just right for a twin bed, and a layout of 6 x 6 blocks is perfect for a king size.
