Fabric is sold in quarter metre increments (25cm x 110cm). If you are ordering 1 unit and would like it cut as a fat quarter instead (18" x 22"), please select FQ when adding to cart. 
 
Fat quarters are cut in the standard "American" size of 18" x 22" including selvedge (approx. 45.7cm x 55.8cm). This is for consistency with factory cut bundles and quilt pattern fabric requirements.  All further increments will be cut as width of fabric pieces as shown below:
 
1 unit = 25cm x WOF - OR 18" x 22" FQ if preferred
2 units = 50cm x WOF - approx. 19.6" x 44"
3 units = 75cm x WOF - approx. 29.5" x 44"
4 units = 1m x WOF -  approx. 39.3" x 44"
