Brave Little Buckets Workshop

Location: My Fabricology at Unit 33/4 Wicks Street, Bayswater. (Perth, Western Australia.)
Cost: $125
 
By the end of the class, you will have learned how to make a lined fabric bowl/bucket with a boxed bottom and coordinating binding.  We will aim to fully complete at least one bowl during the class, but all four units are made exactly same way, so if you don't quite finish all of them on the day, you will be well equipped to carry on at home.
 
Finished buckets are approximately 3.5", 4.5", 5.5" and 6.5" square(ish).  They are slightly shorter when you choose to fold down the bound edge.
 
Upon booking your place, I will be in touch approximately one week before the workshop to confirm your fabric choices. From the fabric section of my website, you will choose one fabric for the outside, one for the inside (although they are reversible so either/both could be outside/inside depending on your mood) and one for the binding. Your pre cut your personalised fabric choices will be included in your workshop kit.
 
A full workshop kit will be provided and includes:
*All the fabric you need to make a set of four Brave Little Buckets - precut and ready to sew.
*Fusible Fleece.
*Binding fabric.
*Coordinating thread for assembling and binding.
*Hand sewing needle.
*Written instructions to take home and use again.
 
What you need to bring:
*Sewing machine with foot pedal and power cord.
*Quarter inch foot for your sewing machine if you have one - definitely not essential, but handy.
*Small quilting ruler if you have one - this will only be used for marking out the boxed bottoms, so won't need to be very large. I will have one on hand to use if you don't have your own.
*Marking tool - this will only be used for marking cutting lines, so it doesn't need to be erasable. A pen or mechanical pencil is fine.
*Fabric scissors.
*Pins and/or clips.

I will have various tools and supplies on hand for students to use on the day if required. Some items will also be available to purchase if you would like to invest in your own. Please feel free to let me know if you are unable to get your hands on any of the listed requirements, or if you have any other questions or concerns, and I will do my best to accommodate.
 
Light refreshments, tea and coffee will be provided. You are welcome to bring your own lunch. Refrigerator and microwave available on site.
 
Cancellation Policy:
Payment in full is due at time of booking. Emails with reminders and further instructions will be sent closer to the date of the workshop to the email address provided at checkout, but please feel free to reach out with any questions at any time.
 
Cancellations made more than four weeks prior to the workshop date will be refunded in full.
 
Cancellations made within four weeks of the workshop will receive 75% of the total workshop cost as Brave Little Buckaroo store credit. This can be used on another workshop, towards purchases on the Brave Little Buckaroo website, or as credit towards longarm quilting.
 
Cancellations made within one week of the workshop will not be refunded or given store credit.
 
In the event that this workshop does not meet the minimum number of attendees to be viable, it may be cancelled or postponed. In the event of cancellation due to this or any other unforeseen circumstances on my end, attendees will be given as much notice as possible and will be refunded in full.
